George Allen

George's unconventional path to FundOnion began with a Mathematics degree at Loughborough University. His love of sport during these years led him to Australia where he played Rugby for the Marlins and worked as a mortgage broker in the northern beaches of Sydney. Inspired by his entrepreneurial father, George also set up his own fire safety software business - but eventually an opportunity at FundOnion called him back to finance. Having grown up watching his father run an SME for over 25 years, George understands firsthand the financial complexities smaller businesses face and how a single contract can make or break a company. This personal insight drives his commitment to helping business owners navigate their funding challenges with genuine understanding.
