Richard's path to business finance began in an unexpected place - Jaguar Land Rover - where he mastered client relationships and high-value transactions across various roles. A move to Sydney introduced him to commercial finance for the first time, instantly sparking his passion for helping businesses access growth capital, before he eventually moved back and started at FundOnion. Richard’s lifetime of working with SMEs has taught him that clear communication paired with technical expertise is essential, ensuring every client feels informed and supported throughout their funding journey. Being part of each business's growth story is what motivates him most. Outside of work, he's passionate about travel, Sheffield United, and running.
